Watch: Derek Zoolander takes Blue Steel to the top of the Harbour Bridge

'Blue Steel' on 67, 000 tons of real blue steel

Unless you’ve been living under a large and unfashionable rock, you no doubt would have heard the news that supremely attractive human Derek Zoolander will finally be returning to the big screen this February, with his new film Zoolander No. 2. The follow-up to 2001’s Zoolander, this long-awaited sequel is set to provide more insight into the life of Derek—a trailblazer and innovator of creative facial poses, and undeniably one of the most beautiful specimens walking this Earth.

Visiting equally glamorous city Sydney to promote the film, the really, really, ridiculously good-looking male model took to the skies to strut his stuff on a catwalk unlike that of which he’s used to. Wearing head-to-toe Ksubi x Don Atari custom threads, Zoolander gave a mini runway show 140 metres above Circular Quay on the IRL blue steel of the Sydney Harbour Bridge (of course featuring iconic signature look ‘Blue Steel’).

Zoolander No. 2 is due out in cinemas on 11 February, 2016. Until then though, you can watch the video of Derek strutting his stuff on repeat in the gallery above.
